Two motorcyclists were killed after their bike crashed into an SUV driving through the Upper East Side early Sunday morning.
A 32-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were killed after the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a Toyota RAV4 near 3rd Avenue and E. 103rd Street in Manhattan around 4:43 a.m., police said.
EMS arrived at the accident and discovered the injured motorcyclists, who were pronounced dead on the scene.
Horrific photos taken at the scene show the smashed-up SUV, the abandoned motorcycle, and glass covering the street.
They also show the motorcyclists’ bodies covered by white sheets in the street.
The SUV driver, a 30-year-old man, remained on scene following the accident, police said.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he is in stable condition.
The two people on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, police said.
